I have one complaint about the 2010 Rally, and it has nothing to do with the Club. That is that my trusty co-pilot was not present. Other than that, the 2010 Rally was the best Rally I have ever attended. Period.

Seriously. I am trying to think of a better rally, and it's not coming up. I remember my first BMW rally, which was a '49-er when they were in Quincey. May have been in '96. Rode there on "The Black One," my beautiful '96 Harley FLHT. Some of the Republic rallys have been pretty great also. I was too scared on some of the roads to count any of the Nez Perce rallys, although I have many memories. Fortunately, no "Post Nez Stress Syndrome."

The weather helped a lot. The whole thing was totally laid back. I have to admit, I didn't pre-register, knowing that it would all be there if I just rode in. Bad! Bad! Had a great ride up to Radar Ridge on Saturday, taking my new GS Adventure for it's first "serious" off-pavement outing. The oysters were extreme. The food was great. The best part of the whole thing was the people!!

Thank you organizers, and thank you to all the rally attendees for providing me with such a fine weekend.
